New Story

3D-Printing Homes to end global homelessness. It sounds like such a simple, futuristic solution. As simple as it is, it certainly is not easy and I have learnt that first hand from my time on the New Story Research Team. I'm proud to know my work is dedicating to a greater impact.

Volunteering

Early Stages

I found the organization after reading an article on Forbes Magazine. From there, I signed up to become a remote volunteer and help out with simple tasks such as organizing spreadsheets of different corporate names to contact and doing grant research to increase funding.

Engineering Research Team

Leading The Movement

Due to the increase in my quality of work, I was able to join the New Story Engineering Research Team. Here, I was able to do more focused research about different housing material types, locations to build 3D-Communities, software development to organize resources and prototype early models of new houses. I was also introduced to the workplace exclusive softwares that New Story uses.

Founder's Lab

Creation of a Cause

I applied and was selected to join the New Story Founder's Lab cohort, a selective 300-member cohort for people interested in using technology to create social change. Here, I was able to meet like minded entrepreneurs and interact with CEOs and founders across the world and learn from their experiences. I was even able to help one of my peers in El Salvador found an organization to give artists a platform in South America. My network expanded greatly!
